Hidden Court

One project that I thoroughly enjoyed was working on a breathtaking 12,000 sq ft waterfront property in Cape Elizabeth, Maine called Hidden Court. This home was featured in House Beautiful magazine soon after the work was completed. 

 This was part of the homes library. This space was completely remodeled.  We added the windows to overlook the courtyard. The tall case on the right is actually a custom built bird cage complete with water, air and lights!



    This was the main addition we added to the home. The large windows took advantage of the commanding ocean view and a kitchen that would keep a smile on any chef's face. The limestone tile was salvaged by the customer's designer from a old villa in France.  It looked amazing!!

Ocean view Stone Manor

Here is a Beauty we bought to remodel in Cape Elizabeth it needed a ton of work but the location with ocean views and the conservation land next door made this project worth it.

We tore off the entire right side of the house and started over. Stone mason, Caleb LaFrance, added the keystones over the windows. The kitchen addition is at the far right and has a flat roof where the master bedroom deck will sit. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are incredible!

Here is the back of the home where we added a new garage and breezeway. We also rebuilt almost all the stone work on this elevation.  

 The entry was fairly formal yet warm and inviting.

This picture was the last one taken before the snow fell.  We had pavers put in for the walk and copper gutters added. After finishing the house we had two open houses and sold it within a month. 

New construction with classic details

Nestled in an older, established neighborhood in Maine's most popular city, this efficient new 4 bedroom home was built from start to finish in 4 months! 

We hand crafted these cabinets after an old English look and had them site finished. 

We added this archway as a last minute detail

The customer had us enclose the tv behind custom doors above the fireplace. The window seats provided ample storage.

Mountain Retreat Project

One of our favorite projects to work on was a lakefront retreat nestled in the mountains of Bridgton, Maine.  It was a 7,380 sq. ft. vacation home with Old World European finishes.
Our team had the privilege of building out the entire exterior finishes of this home... three part crown fascia detail, red cedar shingles, columns, porch, and lots of radius trim.  The crazy part was that we did most of it in the middle of winter while battling sub zero temps and several feet of snow!! We still made our deadline.

New England Farmhouse

When we purchased this house, which was built in 1805, on a quaint road called White Oak Hill, everyone thought we were crazy!  The 2,900 sq ft house was full of junk... but in our eyes it had great potential.  We hauled five 30-yard dumpsters filled to the brim to the waste facility with the contents of this house. I also auctioned off enough old treasures to pay for the soapstone counters and all those dumpster fees.

 This place was great. I think for the budget, it finished well.

 Oh yes, the barn... We restored the old post and beam structure to its original condition and installed a full workshop.
