Ocean view Stone Manor

Here is a Beauty we bought to remodel in Cape Elizabeth it needed a ton of work but the location with ocean views and the conservation land next door made this project worth it.

We tore off the entire right side of the house and started over. Stone mason, Caleb LaFrance, added the keystones over the windows. The kitchen addition is at the far right and has a flat roof where the master bedroom deck will sit. The views of the Atlantic Ocean are incredible!

Here is the back of the home where we added a new garage and breezeway. We also rebuilt almost all the stone work on this elevation.

The entry was fairly formal yet warm and inviting.

This picture was the last one taken before the snow fell.  We had pavers put in for the walk and copper gutters added. After finishing the house we had two open houses and sold it within a month.

  9. An ICF house will likely need more time than a conventional home to get the necessary permissions, so consider this when planning your timeline. Permitting procedures might be more time-consuming since this is not a normal practice in the home building business. If you hire a licensed contractor, the procedure will go more smoothly (and presumably faster).ICF roofing is not a DIY project that we would advocate for individuals who are not certified, professionals.
