WoodStone Construction, we love to build stairs! This was a fun stair to build. We tied in the paneling and also custom made all the newel posts.
Another coffered ceiling almost 20 feet off the floor. Also the arch window trim detail was custom fabricated on site with a great bead detail running along the inside frame.
We went with square balasters. Simple and elegant.
The mantel came from a historical home in Boston that was being torn down. After careful restoration, and a couple of modifications, it fit well with the custom built-ins.
